Here is the longer answer: Suay Maak’s business model only works if you trust our recommendations enough to come back and click more links. Writing dishonest reviews to get a one-time commission on a bad product would cost us readers , and readers are worth much more than a single commission.
So when a product is not worth buying, we say so. When cheaper alternatives exist, we say so. When a brand has paid influencers to call its product “life-changing” and we disagree, we say that too.
What we do not do
- We do not take paid placements. No brand can pay us to write a positive review.
- We do not accept PR gifts in exchange for coverage. If we receive a product sample, the review is written the same way as if we bought it.
- We do not recommend products we have not tested or analyzed.
